I am not just a pet in any classroom, I am a class pet in a Catholic school classroom. That means I know lots of prayers in addition to my math facts and spelling words. This month the class is practicing the Holy Rosary. I love hearing everyone say it together. Keep it up!
I loved meeting everyone at grandparent day - the science experiments you did look cool (yummy too!), and it looks like you got to play those neat math games again. I have been helping Mrs. B plan for next week - you guys are going to be busy! See you in class this week!!!
Mrs. Brennan will be so excited! The Cubs are in the playoffs!!!! My friend Wrigley (one of Mrs. B's dogs) should be happy too. I can't wait to watch a playoff game with my family this weekend. I am also excited to meet all of your grandparents on Friday - Mrs. B says I cannot come to church but that people will be coming back to the classroom to see me!
Mrs. Brennan brought me home for the weekend. I am glad she did, I didn't really like the car ride but I didn't want to spend the weekend at school by myself either. Friday and Saturday night were quiet at the house, everybody was out doing things, but Sunday was very busy! We watched football ALL DAY! The Brennan's even left the game on for me while they went to church. They came home with lots of flowers and pumpkins from the harvest festival at church too. I LOVE pumpkin seeds, I hope they carve the pumpkins soon and share the seeds with me.
I would like to know what you did over the weekend - during computer class, please type what you did in the comment box (use complete sentences) so I can read them on Monday night. I am excited to finally be in the classroom! Thank you for being calm when Mrs. B took me out this morning...I was nervous to meet you guys but everything turned out just fine. I still get really nervous when people jump near my house....the bookcase moves and it feels like I am going to fall (I know I am not going to fall, but it still scares me!). Mrs. Brennan said she would move me to a better spot where you can all see in my house.
I loved the math game you played today, it looked like a lot of fun. I hope you get to play it some more! See you in the classroom!!! Love, Popcorn - the class pet |
